  • Day trip to Imesouane Fisherman village

    Imesouane, with its gentle and never-ending right, is everyone’s favorite (including me :)). This picturesque small fisherman village nestled in a magnificent bay has been considered one of the best surf spots worldwide for decades thanks to its long and smooth wave and its many different peaks allowing both beginner and advanced surfers to have a safe and memorable experience.

    After surfing, we all sit at tables by the water and enjoy a delicious fresh fish BBQ while watching the surfers in these magical surroundings. Shortly after lunch, we head to the second part of the trip called Little Sahara. This is a group of beautiful natural sand dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean where you can try yourself at Sand Surfing or just be a kid again and roll down the steep dunes. This spot also makes for fabulous desert scene type of pictures (40€ /person includes lunch).

  • Day trip to Paradise Valley

    Paradise Valley is a small oasis located in the foothills of the Atlas mountains about 1 hour away eastward from our camp. The very scenic road to the valley follows the bed of Oued Tamraght (Tamraght river) and is lined with colorful laurels, palm trees, olive trees, and of course the famous Argan trees. On the way up, we stop at a local Argan oil cooperative owned by local women where you will have a chance to watch the whole process of making Argan oil from scratch. Once at Paradise Valley we leave the cars and go on a hiking trail throughout the oasis until we reach the long-awaited natural pools. We play in the freshwater, sunbathe for an hour or so, and then head back for a light lunch in the soothing coolness of the oasis. This excursion however is weather permitting and can therefore be subject to cancellation with a full refund (35€ /person includes lunch).
