Stay

If you’re looking for an old-school surf lodge, then we might just be the place for you!

Maroc Surf Camp is one of the original surf houses in the Taghazout bay area and our villa has 11 spacious and comfortable rooms (no dorms or bunk beds!) which are all decorated in the local traditional “Beldi” style. The villa offers a wide variety of sleeping accommodations and can host up to 29 guests.

Bathrooms are shared by a maximum of two rooms. Private rooms are available (10€ additional charge per night). All linen and shower towels are provided.

Our large ocean-view terrace is where all the meals and good times are shared by everyone and it is ideal for dipping into a good book, watching the dramatic African sunsets, or chilling after dinner and sharing life stories with people from other cultural backgrounds.

On the rooftop is our fully-equipped yoga shala where you have the opportunity to try a yoga class to complement the daily surf sessions.

Although our main goal is for you to relax and disconnect from your daily routine, we have recently installed blazing-speed fiber optic WIFI throughout the villa so you have no problem watching or sharing those cool videos of you catching your first wave.

How to get to Maroc Surf Camp?

Maroc Surf Camp villa is located in the charming Berber village of Tamraght which is about 22 km away from the main city of Agadir.

The closest airport is Agadir but you can also catch a flight to Marrakech and then get a ride to Agadir by taxi (around 140€ for 4 passengers) or by bus (14€ per traveler).

Transfers from Agadir airport or Agadir bus station to our camp are included in all packages.

Many low-cost airlines such as Ryan Air, Transavia, TUI, and the national company Royal Air Maroc fly daily to Agadir from several European airports. All you need is a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity left) and an up-to-date vaccine document. No more PCR tests.

Climate

Because it is sheltered by Cape Ghir and surrounding hills, sunshine is virtually guaranteed in the Agadir region, with over 300 days of sunshine per year.

The Winter air temperature seldom drops below 22°C during the day and the water temperature averages 18°C.
